By accessing JP Carrier’s website, requesting a quote, booking a shipment, using our customer portal, or communicating with us for courier, delivery, logistics, warehousing, or transportation services, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website, portal, or services.
These Terms apply to services provided by JP Carrier and/or its related operating entities, employees, drivers, contractors, agents, and authorized service providers.
For legal documents, invoices, and contracts, JP Carrier may operate under its registered corporate name, trade name, or business name.
JP Carrier provides transportation and logistics services, including but not limited to:

The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete shipment information, including:
The customer is responsible for ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, labelled, and ready for pickup.
JP Carrier is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, damage, or loss caused by incorrect information, poor packaging, missing labels, unsafe goods, or unavailable recipients.
JP Carrier will make reasonable efforts to complete pickups and deliveries within the requested service window.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, pickup and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
JP Carrier is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

The customer agrees that electronic proof of delivery is valid evidence of delivery.
Where the customer or receiver provides delivery instructions allowing a shipment to be left unattended, JP Carrier may leave the shipment at the requested location.
Once the shipment is left as instructed, JP Carrier is not responsible for theft, loss, weather damage, or third-party interference, unless caused directly by JP Carrier’s negligence.
Customers must not tender prohibited, illegal, unsafe, or restricted goods without JP Carrier’s prior written approval.
Prohibited or restricted items may include:
JP Carrier may refuse, hold, return, dispose of, or report any shipment that appears unsafe, illegal, improperly packaged, or prohibited.
Customers must not ship dangerous goods unless JP Carrier has agreed in writing and all legal requirements are met.
The customer is responsible for proper classification, packaging, labelling, documentation, and compliance with applicable laws.
The customer agrees to indemnify JP Carrier for any loss, fine, penalty, damage, claim, or expense caused by undeclared or improperly declared dangerous goods.
The customer is responsible for packaging shipments in a way that protects the contents during normal transportation and handling.
JP Carrier is not responsible for damage caused by:

Customers agree to pay all applicable charges, including:
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due upon receipt or according to the payment terms stated on the invoice or customer agreement.
Late payments may be subject to interest at 1.5% per month / 18% per year, or the maximum amount allowed by law, whichever is lower.
JP Carrier may suspend services for overdue accounts.
A booking may be cancelled before dispatch without charge, unless otherwise agreed.
If a driver has already been dispatched, JP Carrier may charge a cancellation fee, dry-run fee, waiting fee, or other applicable charge.
If a delivery cannot be completed due to receiver unavailability, incorrect address, refusal, security restrictions, or other issues outside JP Carrier’s control, JP Carrier may charge for:
Any claim for loss, damage, shortage, or service issue must be reported to JP Carrier as soon as possible.

JP Carrier may deny claims that are late, incomplete, unsupported, or caused by improper packaging, incorrect shipment information, prohibited goods, or circumstances beyond JP Carrier’s control.

JP Carrier is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
Higher liability coverage may be available only if agreed in writing before shipment and any applicable fee is paid.
JP Carrier is not an insurance company and does not automatically provide full cargo insurance.
Customers are responsible for arranging their own insurance for high-value, fragile, sensitive, or important shipments unless JP Carrier confirms additional coverage in writing.
The customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JP Carrier from any claims, damages, fines, penalties, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
Users agree not to misuse JP Carrier’s website or systems.

All website content, logos, names, graphics, text, service descriptions, designs, images, and materials are owned by JP Carrier or used with permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use JP Carrier’s branding or content without written permission.
JP Carrier may collect and use personal information to provide services, process orders, communicate with customers, complete deliveries, manage accounts, and comply with legal obligations.

By submitting your contact information, requesting a quote, creating an account, or using JP Carrier’s services, you agree that JP Carrier may contact you by phone, email, text message, or other electronic means regarding quotes, bookings, deliveries, invoices, service updates, and business communications.
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation applies to commercial electronic messages and is intended to protect consumers and businesses from spam and electronic threats.
Marketing messages will be sent only where permitted by law, and users may unsubscribe from marketing communications where required.

JP Carrier is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, accuracy, or security of third-party websites.
JP Carrier provides its website and online tools on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Ontario Small Claims Court currently handles civil claims valued up to $50,000.
